Since Georgetown Confessions came back to life on Facebook in late November there have been a lot of subjects discussed: unrequited love, depression, grades, and people taking dumps in inappropriate places (thankfully, no poop swastikas like at Mizzou).
TGA has also been a frequent topic of conversation.
We've been heartened by the defenses of free speech many gave, and at the same time, a bit creeped out by certain drama-prone segments of the studentry who think the fact TGA exists puts their lives and mental stability at risk or that our editors and writers should be punished in various ways by the administration, from forced attendance at diversity workshops to picking up trash on campus (perhaps they would also like us to be put in bright orange uniforms and wear some shackles while doing so?).
Anyways, we've collected for you most of the confessions (and a couple extra) about The Georgetown Academy that have been published in the last two months. We say "most" because after going back to collect them, we see some were either taken down or hidden. Don't know if that's because Georgetown Confessions proudly describes itself as a "safe space" that filters content, or if it is because the "confession" made the anti-TGA writer look like a total moron and the page's administrators, who we already know don't like TGA, wanted to minimize the fallout and pretend it never happened by tossing the post down the memory hole like The Hoya and The Voice often do.
This includes one of our favorites, which compared TGA to ISIS.
The guys who make homosexuals jump to their deaths from the roofs of buildings . . .
(Editor's note: If you're offended at this point, it better not be because we posted a photo of what radical Islamic terrorists are doing to gay folks, but because some idiot compared an online pub to ISIS, or better yet, because of what ISIS is actually doing to gay folks.)
Anyways, we've captured the one's that haven't disappeared here . . .
And finally, this one . . .
If you find that we're missing one, send us the link and we'll update this post. We've gone through and captured most of them, save the ones Georgetown Confessions erased.
